The Brand Sapolio was created by an american company called Enoch Morgan Sons in 1868, to be a multipurpose cleanser soap bar. This company pioneered the use of marketing. Proof of this are the innumerable advertisements published for over 135 years in the main media vehicles of the time, such as the specialized magazines for wholesales "The New York Grocer", "Cosmopolitan", etc.
In the same way, Sapolio pioneered the use of special events to promote its trademark in an efficient and economical way. Proof of this was the day the Commercial Manager of the company decided to take a trip by himself from the port of New York to the port of Palos in Spain, in celebration for the commemoration of the 400 years of the discovery of America. In this occasion he was welcomed by the King of Spain.
Sapolio is one of a few trademarks that being born as property of the United States of America, over the years became a Peruvian trademark.
